Lemon Detox Diet has renowned devotees like Beyonce Knowles and Mariah Carey, but is this merely another fad diet on the weight-loss industry's celebrity conveyor-belt thru televisions, radios and print? Is this diet actually "healthy"? Can it be used regularly through out the year?
The lemon detox diet is representative of an extreme "detoxifying" diet niche, like the Master Cleanse. The foundation to the diet is that it should liberate your system of poisonous toxins. These toxins supposedly build up in your body as a consequence of the food it is exposed to through dieting and life style. These toxins can then contribute to a impairment in quality of life through lack of get-up-and-go, tiredness & disease. All these are fair claims, but is the lemon detox the healthiest means to handle these issues?
The lemon detox necessitates drinking nothing but the lemon mixture made from East Asian palm syrups, Canadian grade C maple syrup, lemon juice, Cayenne Pepper & water . In addition, a bowel movement a day is necessary for the cleansing of the system. Whilst on the lemon detox diet, salt water or herbal laxative teas such as peppermint are highly urged in order for cleansing of the system to happen.
The total list of benefits and information on Natural Tree Syrup is discussed by those promoting the lemon detox diet. It also postulated that the quality and nature of the specific syrup campaigned by the lemon detox diet is fundamental to the diet, some say that's just to rationalize the high price. They suppose that the natural Tree Syrup, carries the nutrients, vitamins and minerals that your body needs in order for you to maintain the detox diet without being at jeopardy of not being fleeced of enough nutritional goodies.
Some critics postulate that the diet is 'just another fad' with starvation as the fundamental contributory constituent to any weight loss. Therefore, short-run weight loss will be apparent, but will contribute to long-term weight gain. Because critics claim with the detox is that the body will feel the sudden loss in calories uptake and go into starvation mode. In addition they critics claim the diet imposes a really small calorie intake which means although you lose weight, they will be losing muscle as well as fat.
The body is supposed to be detoxicated as the drink extinguishes toxins and congestion that have acquired in the body over time while still delivering key vitamins and minerals and some sugars to the body. The suggested duration of the diet is a minimum of 10 days to allow for the body to adjust, detoxify and therefore resulting weight loss.
As we all know, those who are attempting to lose weight should exercise. Some would say it would be unbelievably hard to workout on this diet, as you would have no energy from a deficiency of solid foods. As far as long term weight loss goes, a blend of a healthy diet and exercise is the healthiest way to achieve long term weight loss. So on that basis, if your goal is to lose some weight quickly for some special occasion, maybe the lemon detox diet could be the answer, but for long term weight management i believe there are many other "healthy" ways to lose weight, like the colon cleanse diet i posted about last time.

Yea I would probably skip this one too. Too many of these fad diets don’t put you in a good position to exercise.
